Technical Curriculum Developer

Freshworks is hiring a Technical Curriculum Developer for a remote, full-time position. Based in San Mateo, CA, this role lets you build comprehensive learning experiences that help customers and teams unlock the full potential of modern customer success platforms.

Position Summary

In this role, you'll design and develop educational programs, documentation, and training resources that make sophisticated software capabilities accessible to learners at all levels. You'll partner with product, engineering, and customer success teams to create curriculum that scales Freshworks' customer enablement and internal training initiatives. Your work will directly impact how thousands of users adopt, master, and drive value from our platform.

Your Responsibilities

• Architect multi-format curriculum frameworks that cover core features, advanced workflows, integrations, and industry best practices
• Author and produce diverse learning assets including interactive courses, video tutorials, written documentation, knowledge bases, and hands-on exercises
• Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with roadmap changes
• Build role-specific learning paths tailored to different user personas: system administrators, end users, implementation specialists, and executives
• Analyze learner data, completion rates, and feedback to assess curriculum effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
• Maintain and evolve content to reflect product updates, feature releases, and emerging customer needs

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience designing and developing technical training programs or educational curriculum
• Solid grounding in instructional design principles, learning experience (LX) design, and adult learning theory
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, accessible language
• Hands-on experience with learning management systems, authoring tools, video production, or educational platforms
• Strong project management abilities and comfort managing concurrent initiatives across distributed teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Background with SaaS products, customer success software, or B2B cloud platforms is a plus
