Role Overview
We're seeking a reliable Cherry Picker Operator and Warehouse Associate to support our Louisville distribution center. In this role, you'll operate motorized picking equipment to accurately locate, select, and prepare inventory for shipment. This is hands-on warehouse work where attention to detail, safety awareness, and consistent performance directly impact our ability to fulfill customer orders on time.
What You'll Do
- Operate a cherry picker or similar motorized equipment to retrieve items from warehouse shelving and elevated storage racks
- Pick orders accurately according to system instructions and picking lists
- Stage and organize picked merchandise for packing, labeling, and shipment
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory verification to maintain accuracy across our warehouse
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with all safety standards
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate motorized cherry picker or equivalent warehouse equipment
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Physical capability to stand, reach, bend, and lift throughout your shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Reliable attendance and punctual performance
- Commitment to following safety procedures and warehouse protocols
- Basic computer skills for warehouse management systems and scanning
