Working Student System Administration (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential tech client in Berlin who needs a Working Student System Administration to join their IT infrastructure team. In this role, you will:

• Serve as the primary contact for hardware and software issues, supporting employees with technical questions in the Berlin office
• Provision and maintain Windows and macOS-based environments, ensuring colleagues have reliable, high-performance equipment
• Manage local networks and assist with troubleshooting, analysis, and technical documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows through customized automation solutions
• Contribute to IT security initiatives including backup management and cyber threat prevention

What We're Looking For

Our client values practical experience over formal credentials. They seek candidates who are:

• Currently enrolled at a university and able to work up to 20 hours per week
• Experienced with help desk user support and Google Workspace administration
• Familiar with VLAN and VPN configuration, Windows and macOS systems
• Knowledgeable in at least one programming language (preferred)
• Reliable, motivated, and capable of managing multiple inquiries simultaneously
• Based in Berlin/Brandenburg with willingness to work from the office in Berlin Mitte
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong plus
