Associate Director Sustainability Sales (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential sustainability consulting organization in Hamburg, and we're seeking an Associate Director to lead sales efforts for sustainability solutions in the real estate sector. In this role, you will:

• Lead strategic client acquisition and development for sustainability solutions within the commercial real estate industry
• Identify new business opportunities independently and leverage your existing network to connect with key decision-makers
• Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, positioning the firm as a leading sustainability partner
• Analyze clients' strategic challenges and collaborate with sustainability experts to develop tailored solutions
• Manage complex sales cycles from initial contact through presentation, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closing
• Develop existing client relationships strategically, manage your sales pipeline, and contribute measurably to growth and revenue targets

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone with strong professional expertise, excellent communication skills, and enthusiasm for collaborative problem-solving. The ideal candidate brings:

• A completed degree or comparable qualification, ideally in real estate, business administration, sustainability, or a related field
• At least six years of relevant experience in real estate, sustainability consulting, or sales of complex advisory services
• Strong knowledge of real estate sustainability topics including ESG, decarbonization, energy efficiency, or sustainable property management
• An established network of relevant decision-makers within the real estate industry and proven success in new client acquisition
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills with confident presence at management and executive levels
• Independent, entrepreneurial, results-oriented working style
• Fluency in both German and English
