About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential client in the electric mobility sector. They are seeking a highly motivated working student to support their software development team in Munich. This role offers hands-on experience with battery management systems, bridging hardware validation and software development in an innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Support software quality initiatives through code refactoring, clean-ups, and maintenance of existing codebases
- Design and implement common libraries to streamline development across multiple projects
- Contribute to core algorithms development, including battery lifecycle calculations
- Enhance flash tool reliability, implement standard protocol support, and add Over-the-Air flashing capabilities
- Develop user-friendly validation tools with simple UI for hardware and EMC testing teams
- Build and maintain metrics dashboards to visualize runtime performance and implement automated alerts
- Abstract implementation details to enable easy hardware testing via communication interfaces
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled as a bachelor's or master's student in software engineering, mechatronics, physics, or similar engineering field
- Strong programming experience in C/C++ and Python
- Experience with UI frameworks (Qt, Tkinter, or web-based) is a plus
- Basic understanding of communication protocols (CAN, UDS) is highly beneficial
- Highly motivated with willingness to take ownership of projects
- Creative, curious, and enthusiastic about innovative electronics solutions
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
- English proficiency is mandatory
