Working Student / Intern – Hardware Validation (f/m/d)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential automotive technology client in Munich. They are seeking a Working Student or Intern to join their Hardware Validation team, supporting the development of advanced electronic systems for electric vehicles and energy storage solutions.

This hands-on role offers exposure to cutting-edge battery management technology and environmental testing processes. You'll work alongside experienced engineers in a modern lab environment, contributing to real-world product validation for next-generation mobility solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute complex electrical and environmental test setups for battery management hardware
• Operate and monitor laboratory equipment including climate chambers, power supplies, and precision measurement devices
• Develop and modify Python scripts to automate test sequences and analyze validation datasets
• Conduct measurements for concept and design validation with rigorous documentation of test results
• Support prototype construction and early-stage validation campaigns
• Perform data evaluation and contribute to robustness testing initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or similar engineering discipline
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation purposes
• Experience with C/C++ or VBA is advantageous
• Solid understanding of electrical and thermal measurement techniques, both theoretical and practical
• Previous laboratory experience in a professional or advanced academic setting preferred
• Hands-on mentality with eagerness to take ownership of projects
• Passion for electric vehicle technology and sustainable energy solutions
• Fluent English required; German language skills are highly beneficial
• Located in or willing to work on-site in Munich
