About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential B2B media organization that serves senior finance professionals across Northern Europe. Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Writer to take ownership of their flagship print publication. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced editor or writer who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to create compelling content that shapes industry conversations.
This role is based in London (Victoria Station area) and operates Monday through Friday from the office—no remote work is available.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop story ideas focused on finance leadership, innovation, and industry trends
- Conduct interviews with CFOs, finance executives, and industry thought leaders
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality editorial content for print magazines
- Oversee magazine construction including layout coordination, photo selection, and collaboration with graphic design teams
- Maintain editorial standards and ensure exceptional attention to detail across all published content
- Manage editorial calendars and deliver content on deadline
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, English, or related field with strong academic performance
- 5+ years of professional writing or editing experience at a magazine or media company with demonstrated excellence
- Outstanding writing, editing, and creative storytelling skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Proven ability to structure work, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight deadlines
- UK work authorization required
- High sense of urgency, ownership mindset, and relentless drive to produce best-in-class work
