About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential media organization that operates at the intersection of finance leadership and professional development. Our talent team is seeking an exceptional Chief Editor to lead content creation for a flagship print publication serving senior finance professionals across Northern Europe.

This is an in-office role based in London (Victoria Station area, Monday-Friday) with significant ownership and growth potential within a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Responsibilities

As Chief Editor, you will own the end-to-end production of a premium physical magazine, including:

• Researching industry-related topics and identifying compelling story angles relevant to finance leaders
• Conducting interviews with senior executives and industry innovators
• Writing, copywriting, editing, and proofreading all magazine content to the highest editorial standards
• Constructing complete magazine issues including layout direction, photo selection, and design coordination (working alongside a Graphic Designer)
• Maintaining editorial excellence while meeting publication deadlines in a high-velocity environment

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings both editorial excellence and an entrepreneurial mindset:

• Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic results, preferably in journalism, communications, marketing, English, or a related field
• 5+ years of proven experience in magazine or media publishing with a track record of exceptional performance
• Outstanding writing, editing, and creative skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong organizational abilities with proven capacity to structure, prioritize, and execute under pressure
• UK work authorization required
• Relentless work ethic, high sense of urgency, and proactive ownership mentality
• Humility and passion for building something exceptional
