Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential media organization seeking a Senior Content Editor to lead content development for their flagship publications. In this role, you will:
- Research industry-related topics and develop compelling story ideas and articles
- Conduct interviews with senior professionals and industry leaders
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for print magazines
- Collaborate with graphic designers to construct complete magazine layouts including photos, design elements, and artwork
- Take ownership of the editorial direction and quality of publications
- Work directly with senior leadership to align content with business objectives
What We're Looking For
Our client seeks a driven professional with exceptional editorial skills and a proven track record in publishing. The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree with outstanding results, preferably in journalism, communications, marketing, English, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with demonstrated excellence at a magazine or media company
- UK work authorization
- Outstanding writing, editing, and creative abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to structure and prioritize multiple projects
- High sense of urgency and relentless drive to excel
- Proactive mindset with excellent follow-through on commitments
Location: London office (Victoria Station area), Monday-Friday in-office; remote work not available
