About This Opportunity

We are representing a rapidly growing media and events organization in London that connects industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals in the HR technology space. Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Writer to take ownership of their flagship print publications and help build exceptional editorial content that drives engagement with their executive audience.

This is an in-office position based in central London (Victoria area), Monday through Friday, with significant growth potential as the company scales.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify compelling industry-related topics, trends, and story ideas for print magazines
• Conduct interviews with senior executives, entrepreneurs, and industry experts
• Write, edit, and proofread high-quality editorial content for quarterly or monthly publications
• Collaborate with graphic designers to construct magazine layouts, coordinating photos, design elements, and artwork
• Maintain editorial standards and ensure exceptional attention to detail across all published content
• Manage editorial calendars and meet publication deadlines consistently

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, English, or related field with strong academic performance
• 5+ years of professional writing and editing experience at a magazine or media company
• Outstanding writing, editing, and creative storytelling skills with a portfolio demonstrating published work
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high editorial standards
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to structure, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
• UK work authorization (required)
• Proven track record of producing high-quality content in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, proactive approach with strong ownership mentality
