Working Student (m/f/d) for Planning & Procurement

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential aerospace technology organization based in München. We're seeking a Working Student (m/f/d) to support their Planning & Procurement function with critical SAP master data management responsibilities.

This role offers hands-on experience in supply chain operations, working at the intersection of data quality, purchasing processes, and ERP systems. You'll be part of a team ensuring that planning and procurement decisions are built on clean, reliable master data.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain SAP master data including material master records, source lists, info records, and purchasing views
• Identify and resolve incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent data entries in coordination with Buyers and Planning teams
• Support standardization of master data fields and naming conventions across procurement categories
• Help establish and maintain data governance routines to ensure long-term consistency
• Build simple reports and dashboards using Excel and SAP queries to track data quality metrics and flag recurring errors
• Identify repetitive data-cleanup tasks and propose lightweight automation solutions to reduce manual effort
• Support the implementation of new data standards as defined by the Purchasing team
• Collaborate with Buyers, Planners, and IT/ERP teams to trace data issues to their root causes

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in industrial engineering, supply chain, business administration, information systems, or related field
• Some exposure to SAP or comparable ERP systems through coursework, internships, or previous working student experience is beneficial
• Strong willingness and ability to learn SAP in depth
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working with large, complex datasets
• Solid Excel skills; basic familiarity with Power Automate, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus
• Structured, methodical approach to work
• Genuine curiosity about manufacturing and procurement processes, and understanding how clean data drives planning accuracy
• Fluency in English required; German language skills are advantageous
