Working Student/Intern Sales & Business Development (f/m/d)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential industrial software company based in Cologne. Our client is developing advanced analytics platforms that help manufacturing organizations optimize their production processes and improve operational efficiency. They are seeking a Working Student or Intern to support their Sales and Business Development function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student to gain hands-on experience across the entire sales cycle, from lead qualification to customer onboarding, while working with an innovative technology platform in the B2B SaaS space.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, customer segments, and sales performance to generate actionable insights for portfolio and sales management
• Support lead qualification through structured research and data-driven assessment
• Maintain CRM data quality, ensuring accuracy and transparency across the sales pipeline
• Contribute to international go-to-market initiatives through market analyses, competitive benchmarking, and rollout activities
• Prepare commercial documents including quotations, order confirmations, and standard contractual materials
• Coordinate preparation, documentation, and follow-up of customer meetings, sales reviews, and internal alignment workshops
• Support marketing and sales activities such as campaigns, events, and digital initiatives
• Collaborate with customer onboarding, customer success, and marketing teams

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Available for a six-month internship or working student position (shorter durations may be considered based on availability and experience)
• Ideally, initial practical experience through internships or student roles in customer service, marketing, or customer-facing functions
• Highly organized with ability to work independently and demonstrate strong ownership and reliability
• Advanced communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities
• Enthusiasm for digitalization and willingness to learn B2B SaaS products for manufacturing processes
• Hands-on mentality with readiness to take ownership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent language skills in both German and English (C1 level or higher)
• Ability to spend at least one day per week at the Cologne office (additional in-person time welcomed)
