Working Student – Graphic Design E-Commerce (all genders)

Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential e-commerce organization, is seeking a Working Student in Graphic Design to join their in-house creative team in Berlin. You will create visual content across multiple consumer brands and product lines distributed throughout Europe.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Creating and adapting packaging designs, user manuals, and product illustrations
• Retouching and editing product photography in Adobe Photoshop
• Designing marketing graphics and product visuals for e-commerce platforms including Amazon
• Adapting existing creative assets for different products, languages, and European markets
• Supporting visual content creation for social media and marketing materials
• Utilizing AI tools to enhance image creation, editing, and creative workflows
• Contributing ideas and maintaining consistent brand standards across product portfolios

What We're Looking For

This is a working student position designed for someone still developing their professional skills. We're representing a client who values a strong design foundation and eagerness to grow in a commercial environment.

Required qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in graphic design, media design, communication design, or comparable program
• Practical design experience through university projects, internships, freelance work, or prior positions
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience with Figma or similar design platforms
• Strong eye for layout, typography, composition, and detail-oriented work
• Interest in e-commerce, product design, and consumer brands
• Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to integrate them into creative processes
• Independent work style with strong sense of ownership and reliability
• Very good German and English language skills
• Portfolio or design work samples required with application

The role offers variety across packaging, e-commerce, photography, and digital content. You'll work directly with in-house designers and photographers, receiving regular feedback on real commercial projects. The environment includes modern Apple equipment, Adobe Creative Cloud, AI tools, and access to a professional photo studio. The position is hybrid with up to 30 days remote work annually, based in a modern Berlin Mitte office with regular team events.
