About This Opportunity

We are representing a growing technology company in Munich that develops advanced video analytics solutions for smart city and transportation applications. Our client is seeking a Working Student Application Software Engineer to join their customer-facing technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience bridging customer requirements with software development in a dynamic, international environment. You'll work 15-20 hours per week during the semester with flexibility during breaks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the customer success team in understanding technical requirements and use cases
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate customer feedback into product requirements
  • Support technical workshops, product demonstrations, and customer onboarding sessions
  • Help identify and investigate new feature opportunities based on user data and feedback
  • Provide technical support alongside sales and engineering teams

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related technical degree program
  • At least 2 semesters remaining in your studies
  • Practical experience with SQL, Python, and working with APIs/SDKs (through projects, internships, or coursework)
  • Fluency in both English and German (minimum C1 level)
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset
  • Availability to work up to 20 hours per week during semester

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Docker or Linux environments
  • Understanding of computer vision or AI applications
  • Experience in startup or fast-paced tech environments
  • Proficiency with AI coding assistants and modern development workflows
  • Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
