Semiconductor Packaging Engineer / Process Engineer Advanced Packaging (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential semiconductor organization seeking an experienced Packaging Engineer to lead advanced packaging development and process optimization. In this role, you will:

• Develop, optimize, and industrialize technology processes in advanced semiconductor packaging
• Provide technical oversight and management of external customer projects focusing on component manufacturing, system-in-package solutions, and chiplet technologies
• Coordinate internal development projects including technical alignment, progress tracking, and internal/external reporting
• Collaborate closely with process engineering, quality management, and sales teams to develop customer-specific solutions
• Ensure quality standards and project objectives through comprehensive analyses and process evaluations
• Deliver robust technical decision-making support through systematic process assessments

What We're Looking For

• Completed engineering degree in microsystems technology, electrical engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, production technology, or comparable qualification
• Multiple years of experience developing, optimizing, and managing technology processes, as well as supporting technical customer projects
• Knowledge of assembly and interconnect technologies such as soldering, chip-on-board, dicing, wafer processing, or molding
• Ideally, expertise in advanced packaging, system-in-package, chiplet technologies, or substrate technologies
• Strong competency in process control, process optimization, technical analysis, and building technical decision frameworks
• Fluent German and good English communication skills
