Workday Business Analyst

Pierce Technology Corp is hiring a Workday Business Analyst to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on optimizing and supporting our Workday enterprise resource planning system.

Role Overview

As a Workday Business Analyst at Pierce Technology Corp, you will bridge our business operations and technology infrastructure by managing requirements, configuring Workday modules, and driving system adoption across the organization. You'll work with stakeholders across finance, human resources, payroll, and supply chain to ensure our Workday platform aligns with business objectives and operational needs. This role requires both technical acumen and strong communication skills to translate business challenges into Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into Workday configuration specifications
• Perform Workday system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting across modules including HCM, Finance, Payroll, and Procurement
• Create process documentation, system design documents, and end-user training materials
• Support system integrations between Workday and other enterprise applications
• Conduct user acceptance testing and identify gaps or issues before production deployment
• Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to business users post-implementation
• Participate in Workday upgrades, patches, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Workday Business Analyst or in a similar ERP/system configuration role
• Solid understanding of Workday modules (HRIS, Financials, Payroll, and/or Procurement)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience gathering requirements, creating specifications, and managing stakeholder expectations
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
