Werkstudent:in Simulation & Application Engineering (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential engineering software organization seeking a working student to support their simulation and application engineering team. In this role, you will actively contribute to real simulation and client projects while gaining deep insights into modern CAE processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting simulation projects in the plastics engineering domain, including preparation, execution, and evaluation of simulations
• Conducting internal simulation projects and assisting with client-facing technical services
• Creating and performing benchmark simulations
• Analyzing, interpreting, and documenting simulation results
• Contributing to the development of training and learning content, including online academy materials, tutorials, presentations, and technical documentation
• Assisting the technical customer support team by helping with support cases, tracking customer inquiries, and preparing technical information and solution approaches

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a currently enrolled student in mechanical engineering, plastics engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.

Essential requirements:

• Technical understanding and interest in simulation and injection molding technology
• Structured, independent, and reliable working style
• Strong German and English language skills
• Proficiency with MS Office

Desirable experience:

• Previous exposure to CAD or simulation software
• Familiarity with AI tools or coding agents (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot)
