Werkstudent:in Community Management (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential cleantech organization in Hamburg that is scaling rapidly across Europe. We are seeking a working student to support community management and reputation oversight across multiple social platforms and review channels. This is a student position (Werkstudent) requiring current enrollment at a German university.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to community engagement across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn in a timely, brand-appropriate manner
• Support operational review management by screening new ratings on Trustpilot and Google, reporting notable patterns, and assisting with response implementation
• Conduct weekly monitoring of relevant video content on YouTube, reviewing selected channels and posts, and providing structured observations to the team for proactive response
• Drive organic engagement by actively participating in comment sections immediately after new content goes live, initiating discussions to boost reach and visibility
• Understand platform-specific best practices and adapt communication style accordingly while maintaining brand voice consistency
• Strategically place content in relevant conversations about energy transition, solar, heat pumps, and related topics through thoughtful, value-adding comments on external accounts
• Own a special project focused on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): develop approaches to format social media and community content so it performs well in AI-powered search results and responses
• Test new content formulation strategies and help integrate GEO principles into ongoing content creation processes

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a German university for at least two more semesters in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business Administration, or a comparable field
• Active personal user of social media with intuitive understanding of how Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn differ in tone, format, and audience
• Strong, confident writing skills in German; English proficiency is advantageous
• First-hand experience with community or social media management is a plus but not required—more important is your feel for language and people
• Familiarity with social media management tools such as Agorapulse or comparable platforms is helpful
• Basic understanding of SEO or GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is a plus, but primarily you should have enthusiasm to learn this topic as your own project and actively shape its implementation
• Interest in the energy transition and motivation to make this topic more tangible every day

Pay
