Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential accredited laboratory in Berlin, and our talent team is seeking a working student (Werkstudent) to support sample registration operations. In this role, you will:

• Transfer customer and product information into the laboratory information management system (LIMS)
• Register and process incoming food and feed samples, including labeling, weighing, documentation, and photo capture
• Independently create test parameters to ensure smooth sample flow and timely processing
• Reconcile and manage Excel spreadsheets and complete general administrative tasks
• Support customer communication to clarify order details
• Assist with various laboratory tasks including sample preparation and practical support work across departments

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone with:

• Current enrollment in a life sciences degree program (food chemistry, biotechnology, food technology, or comparable fields)
• A hands-on mentality and comfort working with diverse sample materials (food and feed products)
• Strong communication skills and team orientation
• Interest in sample registration as the central starting point for analytical processes
• Careful, organized, and analytical working style
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, and ideally some experience with databases
• Availability to work Saturdays when needed
