About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is transforming consumer lending through advanced data science and risk-based pricing. Our talent team is seeking an Analyst to join their UK-based pricing and analytics function, working on high-impact projects that directly influence product strategy and customer outcomes.

This role sits within a small, focused team responsible for pricing optimization, funnel analytics, and credit strategy across consumer lending products. You'll work closely with credit and product teams to solve complex analytical problems using machine learning and statistical modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine pricing strategies and modeling methodologies for consumer lending products
• Conduct funnel and credit optimization analysis in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Research and propose improvements to existing analytical frameworks and pricing models
• Align pricing decisions with credit risk and underwriting strategies
• Analyze large datasets to identify opportunities and translate business problems into data-driven solutions
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders through written reports and presentations
• Contribute to the team's knowledge base and collaborate on technical solutions

What We're Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience in a technical, analytical, or data-focused role
• Proficiency with Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) and SQL
• Theoretical understanding of core machine learning techniques and statistical principles
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with experience working with large datasets
• Confident communication skills and ability to contribute effectively in team environments
• Self-driven approach with willingness to take ownership of specific tasks and analyses
• Exposure to credit risk or financial datasets is advantageous
• Interest in data engineering is a plus
• Prior experience with financial or pricing modeling is beneficial
