Werkstudent – Compliance Management (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential health insurance organization seeking a working student to support their Compliance Management team in München. This role offers 8-20 hours per week and provides hands-on experience at the intersection of technology, insurance, and regulation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Researching legislative, supervisory, and regulatory developments relevant to the insurance sector
• Supporting the identification, assessment, and documentation of compliance risks
• Contributing to the implementation of legal and regulatory requirements including whistleblower protection, data privacy, and internal compliance guidelines
• Creating and maintaining policies, work instructions, and compliance documentation
• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of compliance training and internal communications
• Supporting compliance controls and follow-up on agreed measures
• Contributing to cross-functional projects, internal audits, and management reporting

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a candidate who is:

• Currently enrolled at a German university studying law, business law, business administration, or a comparable program
• Interested in regulatory topics, corporate governance, compliance, and risk management
• Fluent in German with strong English language skills, both written and spoken
• Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications
• Capable of working independently, structured, and precisely while managing multiple complex topics
• Analytical with the ability to present complex matters in an understandable way
• A clear, professional communicator who is team-oriented, reliable, and actively engages in projects
