Web Content Author -Contentful

Blueprint is hiring a Web Content Author specializing in Contentful to author, QA, and publish web pages in full-time positions available across Australia, Canada, India, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In this role, you'll manage component-based page builds and support high-visibility web launches from authoring through publication.

About This Position

You will own the page authoring and publishing stage of our web content workflow using Contentful. Working with approved templates and reusable components, you'll build launch-ready pages that meet brand, SEO, accessibility, and publishing standards. You'll partner with content operations, design, development, QA, and program management to deliver scalable web experiences across global markets.

Core Duties

• Author, build, and publish pages in Contentful using approved templates, components, and assets
• Assemble pages from reusable, modular components following specifications and content requirements
• Execute pre-publication quality assurance including content accuracy, link validation, asset verification, and formatting review
• Implement copy updates, SEO refinements, and feedback prior to launch
• Create and support multi-market and rest-of-world page content
• Coordinate localization workflows including file creation, vendor management, and translated content deployment
• Collaborate with content operations, design, development, QA, and program teams to resolve authoring or publishing issues
• Manage multiple concurrent page builds and launch schedules with minimal rework
• Maintain consistency across scalable, component-driven content systems

Qualifications

Required:

• 10+ years' experience authoring and publishing content in Contentful or comparable headless CMS
• 10+ years' background building pages using components, templates, and structured content workflows
• 10+ years' experience with web content quality assurance, link validation, asset verification, and pre-publish quality control
• Strong understanding of component-based and design-system-driven web environments
• Experience with content models, folder structures, templates, asset management, and publishing workflows
• Familiarity with localization workflows and multi-market content creation
• Working knowledge of on-page SEO best practices
• Exceptional attention to detail in high-volume publishing work
• Ability to own pages independently from build through quality assurance and publication
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred:

• Direct Contentful experience
• Headless CMS expertise
• Experience with Storybook or component documentation systems
• Working knowledge of web accessibility standards
• Basic understanding of APIs and content modeling
• Marketing, agency, or enterprise web production background
• Major product launch or high-visibility web initiative experience
• Success managing multiple concurrent launches in fast-paced environments
• Strong quality assurance discipline and track record of minimizing post-publish defects
