Warehouse Supervisor, Kentish Town

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential rapid grocery delivery organization seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their Kentish Town location in London. This is an onsite, full-time position working 30 hours per week on a shift-based schedule. You'll play a critical role in ensuring fast, accurate order fulfillment and maintaining operational excellence at a busy urban fulfillment site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee order picking and packing operations to meet strict time targets and ensure seamless dispatch for customers
• Manage inventory accuracy by supervising deliveries, product location tracking, date rotation, and claims logging
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety standards, and conduct regular health and safety inspections
• Address operational hazards urgently and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Collaborate with Assistant Managers and Site Managers to ensure smooth daily operations
• Take ownership of stock integrity, ensuring 100% accuracy across all counting areas
• Lead and motivate warehouse team members through hands-on coaching and example

What We're Looking For

• Proven operational experience in fast-paced environments such as FMCG, retail, warehousing, or last-mile delivery
• Demonstrated track record of achieving performance targets related to pick times, dispatch KPIs, or similar metrics
• Natural leadership abilities with a "lead by example" approach and genuine passion for coaching team members
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to operational improvements
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a high-energy team environment
• Adaptability and resilience in handling the demands of shift-based warehouse operations
