About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential education technology organization that partners with schools across the United States to deliver virtual instruction. Our talent team is building a pool of certified educators for remote teaching assignments that connect qualified teachers with students through live-streamed classroom sessions.

This is a fully remote, 1099 contract position with flexible scheduling options. Both full-day and part-time roles are available, with hours varying throughout the day and week according to school district needs. Start dates are immediate upon placement following completion of our application process.

Responsibilities

• Access an educator portal to review and select job assignments that match your certification
• Deliver virtual instruction using school curriculum on district-approved platforms
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with assigned class curriculum
• Create an engaging virtual learning environment that fosters student creativity and excitement
• Build meaningful relationships with students and nurture their learning through thoughtful teaching strategies
• Monitor and track student grades and academic performance
• Attend required district professional development sessions and faculty meetings
• Collaborate with in-class facilitators who are physically present with students

What We're Looking For

• Valid Connecticut Teacher Certification (active and in good standing)
• Minimum 3 years of professional teaching experience
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Reliable home office setup including laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and stable internet connection
• Willingness to complete a virtual teaching demonstration and submit to a background check during the application process
• Prior online or virtual teaching experience is a plus

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $36-45 hourly. Rates are negotiable based on experience and certification areas.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position and does not include benefits. Assignment schedules follow the school district calendar.
