Korean to English Medical Linguist

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential client in the language services sector. They are seeking Korean to English Medical Linguists to support their expanding portfolio of healthcare and life sciences projects. This is a remote opportunity based in the United States, offering both full-time and long-term contract arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Translate medical content from Korean into English using appropriate medical terminology
• Maintain the tone, style, and intent of source materials throughout translation
• Follow established style guides while ensuring terminology consistency across all deliverables
• Ensure data accuracy in patient records, medical reports, and related documentation
• Manage multiple projects while meeting established deadlines

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in medical translation, including patient records and medical reports
• Native or near-native fluency in both Korean and English
• Broad medical vocabulary and deep understanding of healthcare terminology
• Proficiency with SDL Trados (required)
• Strong ability to work with linguistic assets and translation memory tools
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering quality work on time
• Detail-oriented approach to maintaining consistency and accuracy
