Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential technology organization seeking an Infrastructure Engineer – Automation to join their remote team. This full-time, direct-hire role offers the opportunity to design and maintain infrastructure-as-code foundations that power cloud and hybrid environments at scale.

Location: 100% Remote (United States)
Employment Type: Full-time, W2
Experience Required: 6+ years in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering

Responsibilities

In this role, you will focus on creating and maintaining production-grade infrastructure-as-code solutions:

• Design, build, and maintain reusable Terraform modules with clean APIs and version discipline
• Manage Terraform state, backends, and large-scale workspace organization across multiple environments
• Harden infrastructure pipelines and enforce policy-as-code standards
• Standardize infrastructure delivery across multiple teams and cloud providers
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure code with automated policy enforcement
• Manage thousands of resources across many environments and accounts
• Apply software engineering discipline to infrastructure work

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering with significant Terraform focus
• Deep, hands-on expertise authoring and maintaining production Terraform across at least one major cloud provider
• Strong experience designing reusable Terraform modules
• Hands-on experience with Terraform state management, backends, and workspace organization
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure code
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives
• Strong Git-based workflows including code review, branching, and release management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-cloud Terraform (AWS + Azure or AWS + GCP)
• Familiarity with Terragrunt, Atlantis, Spacelift, or env0
• Experience with policy-as-code engines (Sentinel, OPA, Checkov)
• Contributions to public Terraform modules or providers
• Exposure to FinOps practices and tagging-driven cost governance
