UX/UI Designer (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential defense technology client seeking a UX/UI Designer to create mission-critical software interfaces for interconnected autonomous systems. In this role, you will:

• Design scalable and clean UX/UI using wireframes, high-resolution concepts, and prototypes for complex defense applications
• Translate complex and abstract technical requirements into innovative, actionable design solutions
• Simplify sophisticated systems used in high-stakes real-world environments where clarity is paramount
• Own your design decisions and thrive in a high-momentum, agile development environment
• Work closely with technical experts and diverse stakeholders to build consensus on key design decisions
• Create interfaces that users trust when split-second decisions matter most

What We're Looking For

• Strong UX/UI design skills across all aspects of the design process, from research to delivery
• Experience with systems thinking or cross-platform design (mobile, desktop, wearables)
• AI-native approach, leveraging AI tools in daily work to design and prototype efficiently
• Co-creator mentality with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to present design work with openness, tact, and clarity
• Portfolio demonstrating work on complex, mission-critical, or interconnected systems
• Fluent English for day-to-day collaboration
• C1 level German required; additional languages are a plus
• Location: Berlin-based candidates preferred
