US Market & Sales Development Rep – Munich (Native English Required) (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential AI software company based in Munich that is exploring the US market for the first time. This role will own the full outbound prospecting motion into North America:

• Research, cold-call, and initiate conversations with potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn
• Qualify leads with a critical eye, distinguishing genuine buying interest from polite engagement—strong instincts for reading US business conversations are essential
• Build and manage a pipeline of introductory calls and product demonstrations
• Collaborate directly with the founding and account executive teams to refine positioning for American prospects
• Provide structured feedback on what resonates in the market—there is no existing playbook, so your observations will directly shape go-to-market strategy
• Support preparation and scheduling for leadership visits to the US market

What We're Looking For

Our client is not seeking polished professionals—they want doers with resilience, curiosity, and natural communication skills.

Must-haves:

• Native or near-native American English speaker with genuine fluency in US business communication and cultural norms
• Confident and personable on the phone—able to build rapport quickly with strangers
• Currently a student (any field) or in a gap year, able to work from the Munich office for 3–6 months
• Self-motivated and resilient—comfortable with high call volume and unfazed by rejection

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in outbound sales (internships, working student roles, part-time positions)
• Familiarity with CRM or outreach tools such as HubSpot or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Working German sufficient for day-to-day collaboration with the Munich-based team
