Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential audio/video technology organization seeking a Technical Support and Returns Management Specialist in Rheine, Germany. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customer returns and incoming product deliveries. Your technical expertise will be essential as you diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct quality inspections on returned items and new inventory.

You will communicate with customers via email and telephone, providing solution-oriented and professional support. Your responsibilities include participating in the assembly of large-scale installations, supporting colleagues in product development activities, assembling component subassemblies, and performing quality checks on new products. Error identification, resolution, and prevention will be key aspects of your daily work. You will frequently work with technical documentation in English, making your technical knowledge and analytical skills critical to success.

What We're Looking For

• Completed technical apprenticeship or vocational training (e.g., radio/television technician, IT/communications electronics technician, or comparable qualification)
• Strong technical understanding and high analytical capability
• Prior experience in demanding technical customer support and complaint management is desirable
• Very good mathematical skills and German language proficiency; good English skills in both written and spoken communication
• Proficiency with standard Office applications (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word) and Microsoft Windows environments
• Strong interest in new technologies and self-directed professional development
• Knowledge of 8D reports, AQL standards, and technical testing procedures is advantageous
• Reliability, willingness to learn, attention to detail, initiative, and team spirit
• Professional interpersonal skills
