About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential IT services organization in Erfurt seeking a Kubernetes IT Administrator to join their data center operations. This role focuses on container orchestration, cluster management, and infrastructure administration in production environments.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, configure, and manage Suse Rancher and Suse Rancher Prime clusters in production environments, including load balancers, image registries, and storage integration
- Ensure availability, scalability, and reliability of applications in containerized environments
- Implement security policies and ensure secure operation of Suse Rancher clusters
- Collaborate with software developers to support application deployment in Suse Rancher
- Design and implement monitoring and observation solutions for software components
- Manage bare-metal AI servers on Nvidia infrastructure
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience administering Suse Rancher or Kubernetes solutions
- Experience administering SLES or Ubuntu servers
- Experience creating Helm charts for Kubernetes or Suse Rancher
- Strong knowledge of container orchestration and automation
- Experience implementing security policies and practices in Suse Rancher or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of deployment process automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
- Helpful but optional: Ceph Storage, S3, CI/CD pipelines, Git, HA Proxy or other load balancers, Docker, administration of current Nvidia GPUs (e.g., H200 or RTX 6000)
