Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential municipal housing organization in Limbach-Oberfrohna seeking a Building Projects and Property Development Technician to join their team. In this key technical role, you will be responsible for the technical oversight and management of construction, modernization, and maintenance projects across a significant residential property portfolio.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Planning, managing, and supervising renovation, modernization, and new construction projects
• Coordinating and managing planning offices, specialist contractors, service providers, and external partners
• Representing the owner's interests throughout all project phases
• Ensuring compliance with quality, timeline, and budget requirements
• Monitoring, documenting, and accounting for ongoing construction activities
• Conducting and accompanying acceptance inspections and managing defect resolution
• Recording, evaluating, and tracking building damages and repair measures
• Contributing to investment, maintenance, and economic planning
• Supporting the strategic development of the housing portfolio

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Completed training as a technician, master craftsman, or civil engineer, or comparable qualification; OR
• Technical vocational training with relevant additional qualifications and several years of professional experience in construction or real estate

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Several years of professional experience in construction management, project management, or technical property management
• Solid knowledge of construction contract law and familiarity with VOB, BGB, and HOAI regulations
• Proven experience managing construction and maintenance projects
• Economic thinking and business acumen
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and confident presence when dealing with contractors, authorities, and business partners
• Assertiveness and strong sense of responsibility
