Technical Solutioning Engineer

AIG is seeking a Technical Solutioning Engineer for our 2 Locations office to help design and deliver technical solutions that meet evolving business needs. This is a full-time position for someone who excels at bridging technology and business strategy.

As a Technical Solutioning Engineer at AIG, you'll be responsible for understanding complex business challenges and translating them into workable technical solutions. You'll collaborate across departments to gather requirements, assess feasibility, and architect solutions that align with organizational standards and client needs. This role sits at the intersection of technology and business consulting, requiring both technical depth and communication skills.

What You'll Do

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify technical solutions
• Analyze and document business needs, then design appropriate technical architectures
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure solution viability
• Create technical specifications and solution documentation for cross-functional teams
• Identify risks, constraints, and dependencies in proposed solutions
• Support solution implementation planning and provide ongoing technical guidance
• Stay current with technology trends relevant to the insurance and financial services sector

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in technical solutioning, solutions architecture, or similar consulting roles
• Strong understanding of enterprise software architecture and design patterns
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Familiarity with systems integration, APIs, and cloud technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
