Sanitation Technician, Production

What This Role Involves

As a Sanitation Technician in our Production department, you will be responsible for maintaining sterile and hygienic conditions throughout manufacturing areas. This role is essential to product quality, worker safety, and regulatory compliance at our Windsor location. You'll work with industry-standard cleaning protocols and equipment to ensure our production environment meets strict industry standards and specifications.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled cleaning and sanitization procedures in production areas, including equipment, surfaces, and facilities
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and chemical dispensing systems safely and effectively
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and document all sanitation activities accurately
• Inspect production areas for cleanliness and identify any contamination risks or maintenance issues
• Prepare and apply approved cleaning solutions and sanitizers at proper concentrations
• Collaborate with production staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and minimize downtime
• Report any facility issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with precision in a regulated environment
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols
• Previous sanitation, housekeeping, or production facility experience is valued
