Technical Sales Engineer – South East Hungary (Remote, GY, HU, 5000)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential industrial manufacturing organization seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to cover South East Hungary. In this field-based role, you will serve as the technical expert for key manufacturing accounts across your territory, including South East Budapest, Kecskemet, Bekescsaba, Szeged, Szolnok, and Debrecen.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Identifying and acquiring new customers while expanding relationships with existing accounts
• Providing on-site technical consultation for machining challenges in turning, milling, and drilling applications
• Developing solutions that optimize cutting tool applications and manufacturing efficiency
• Collaborating with engineering and customer service teams to determine technical parameters for quotations
• Conducting price negotiations and managing the full sales cycle
• Coordinating service technician operations across your territory
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports and managing administrative activities
• Delivering customer care and after-sales support to ensure satisfaction

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings a strong combination of hands-on machining expertise and customer-facing skills:

• Technical training as a technician, master craftsperson, engineer degree, or equivalent qualification
• Several years of practical experience with CNC machining and modern tool systems (turning, milling, drilling)
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing strategies and production processes
• Strong material knowledge and understanding of business contexts
• Previous field service or outside sales experience is beneficial
• Professional, convincing presence when engaging with key accounts
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems
• Good command of English or German
• 100% willingness to travel throughout the territory
