Technical Consultant, Strategic, Oracle Cloud

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client seeking a Technical Consultant, Strategic, Oracle Cloud to support their enterprise customer base across Canada and the USA. This is a customer-facing technical role focused on enabling large organizations running Oracle Fusion Cloud to successfully integrate and scale their financial operations through our client's platform.

You'll work at the intersection of finance, technology, and customer success—translating complex enterprise requirements into scalable solutions while serving as the technical advisor for strategic accounts with multi-entity environments and advanced ERP needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical consultant for strategic enterprise accounts running Oracle Cloud, supporting complex implementations across multi-entity and global financial environments
• Act as technical advisor to customers and internal teams, guiding Oracle Cloud integration, configuration, and system design for high-value implementations
• Partner with customer activation and account management teams to assess requirements and propose scalable solutions involving Oracle Cloud, HRIS, and API integrations
• Collaborate with onboarding specialists and implementation leads to support technical workstreams and ensure faster time-to-value
• Problem-solve technical hurdles with customers and recommend effective product implementations with deep understanding of Oracle Cloud integration options
• Conduct technical discovery to understand customer Oracle Cloud environments and workflows, recommending optimal integration architecture including API usage
• Serve as subject matter expert on Oracle Cloud integration capabilities, partnering with sales, product, and engineering teams to advocate for customer-aligned development
• Troubleshoot Oracle Cloud integration blockers and guide customers through complex configuration decisions
• Contribute to internal documentation and tooling that scales support for Oracle Cloud integration use cases across a growing customer base
• Influence product roadmap by channeling Oracle Cloud customer feedback and pain points to product and engineering teams

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or related field
• 4+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in SaaS or fintech
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud, including financials modules, integration patterns, and enterprise deployment models
• Deep familiarity with Oracle Cloud Financials accounting workflows, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Subledger Accounting, and multi-org structures
• Comfort working with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture, with ability to explain technical concepts to finance and operations stakeholders
• Experience partnering with product, engineering, and design teams on enterprise-driven gaps and influencing roadmap decisions
• Ability to advise on non-standard Oracle Cloud implementations and edge cases while balancing customer needs with platform scalability
• Strong communication skills to translate complex technical solutions into business value and guide customers toward scalable approaches
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally across sales, customer success, product, and engineering
• Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills with bias toward action and high level of ownership
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments; adaptable and resourceful

Nice to Have:

• Oracle Cloud Procurement and/or Oracle Projects (PPM) implementation experience
