Technical Account Manager

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential energy technology client seeking a Technical Account Manager to join their Paris office. This is a strategic, high-visibility role managing one of their most important French market accounts. You'll serve as the primary technical relationship owner and bridge between client priorities and internal delivery teams, operating at the intersection of technology, customer success, and product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor to senior client stakeholders, including technology and product leadership
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships, translating technical capabilities into business outcomes
• Provide architectural guidance for platform integrations and system design aligned with scalability principles
• Drive solution design for long-term maintainability and identify value unlock opportunities through feature adoption
• Triage and manage technical incidents in partnership with support and engineering teams
• Guide configuration decisions and usage patterns to ensure platform best practices
• Manage co-development initiatives and joint technical projects with the client
• Represent client needs internally to product and engineering, aligning roadmaps between both organisations
• Facilitate product rollouts, upgrades, and change management with minimal disruption
• Identify account risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies
• Participate in steering committees, executive briefings, and strategic planning sessions

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Technical Account Manager, Customer Success Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Enterprise Architect
• Background in SaaS, cloud services, or complex enterprise environments
• Strong technical foundation with hands-on knowledge of cloud infrastructure, APIs, and system integrations
• Experience with Python, Django, or similar technologies is advantageous
• Familiarity working in fast-paced CI/CD environments
• Track record managing technical implementations from design through production
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working with energy, utility, or infrastructure sector clients preferred
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities with comfort navigating ambiguity
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and proactive, client-centric approach
• Proven ability to build relationships across all seniority levels
• Comfortable managing multiple concurrent priorities in dynamic environments
• Fluent in both French and English (daily client engagement in French, internal collaboration in English)
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Must have existing right to work in France; visa sponsorship is not available

Highly valued: Direct experience in the French energy market, familiarity with energy retail or utility transformation, experience with customer migrations or large-scale platform rollouts, or background mentoring junior team members.
