About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential premium manufacturing client in the Herborn area. Our talent team is searching for a Team Lead/Trainer for Installation & Maintenance to join their technical services division. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of gas-powered heating systems at customer sites across Germany and internationally.

In this position, you will lead field operations, train international partners, and ensure the highest standards of technical quality and customer satisfaction. You'll work with sophisticated heating technology, complete exhaust systems, and control systems while building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission gas-powered heating systems including burners directly at customer locations
• Install complete exhaust systems including chimneys and ventilation equipment
• Perform wiring and parameterization of control technology
• Conduct professional commissioning, calibration, and functional testing of systems
• Execute inspections, maintenance, and service calls on existing installations
• Document all work thoroughly both on-site and during project follow-up
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through professional conduct and identify potential follow-up business opportunities
• Train international partners, including instruction in English
• Support new product development when time permits
• Supervise HVAC apprentices as needed

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training as a metalworker, electrical installer, gas and water installer, or comparable technical profession
• Alternatively: technically skilled career changers with strong willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Ideally several years of experience in installation or technical field service
• Experience with hard soldering and refrigeration certification desirable (training can be provided through our client)
• Leadership experience and background in supervising and training apprentices advantageous
• Independent, reliable, and team-oriented working style with strong customer focus
• Class B driver's license required
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering advantageous
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Excellent German language skills; English skills advantageous
