Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization in Augsburg, Germany, seeking a Teamleiter Einkauf to lead procurement operations for non-food categories across Europe.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop a specialized procurement team focused on non-food commodity groups
• Take full ownership of cost optimization and supply security for non-food procurement across European operations
• Strategically expand and maintain the European supplier network for energy, technical gases, logistics, warehousing, packaging materials, chemicals, and personal protective equipment
• Manage budgets, forecasts, market analyses, KPIs, and inventory levels
• Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives and sustainable value creation measures
• Build and maintain long-term business relationships with strategically important suppliers

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a strategic procurement leader with:

• Proven experience leading procurement teams, particularly in non-food categories
• Strong background in managing complex supplier relationships across Europe
• Expertise in categories such as packaging, logistics, technical gases, energy, chemicals, or PPE
• Demonstrated success in cost optimization and supply chain security
• Fluency in German and English for international supplier management
• Strong analytical skills for budget management, forecasting, and market analysis
