Team Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global diagnostics organization in their search for a Team Manager to lead their Client Delivery operations. This is a fully remote position based in the United States.

Our client supports critical healthcare decisions through laboratory services and clinical trial support. In this role, you'll manage a team responsible for delivering exceptional service to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients conducting global clinical studies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of assigned client team members including performance metrics, accountability, work distribution, and performance evaluations
• Develop and grow the Project Management team through succession planning and individual development plans
• Ensure management of study milestones and maintain proactive client communication
• Apply best practices for budget and risk management with accurate system documentation
• Coordinate and monitor progress to achieve Project Management goals
• Proactively consult with clients on decision impacts and understand how they define success
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and productivity while ensuring consistent SOP implementation
• Monitor and track resolution of all client escalations, issues, and concerns
• Identify, track, and resolve service failures while implementing preventative measures
• Collaborate across functions to remove barriers and optimize client delivery

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of people leadership experience with direct reports
• 2+ years of experience overseeing pharmaceutical or biotechnology projects
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
• Strong customer service orientation and collaborative teamwork skills
• High level of initiative with ability to work across cross-functional teams
• Proven planning, problem solving, and organizational execution strengths
• Demonstrated success driving continuous improvement and managing change
• Experience in team building, influencing stakeholders, and conflict resolution
• Track record of delivering complex projects on time and to quality standards

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in life science, medical, scientific, technical, or laboratory-related discipline
• 1+ years of experience in central laboratory services

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $105,000 - $130,000 annually, based on skills, experience, and qualifications. Annual bonus eligibility available.
