Staff Accountant

Prime System Solutions is hiring a Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting our organisation's growth through diligent accounting practices.

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage day-to-day financial operations at Prime System Solutions. In this full-time position based in Lahore, you'll be responsible for processing transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring all accounting activities comply with relevant regulations. Core Duties

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and subsidiary ledgers
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on schedule
• Prepare financial statements, trial balances, and reconciliation schedules
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing deadlines
• Assist with audit preparation and internal control reviews
• Record journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
• Collaborate with management on financial analysis and reporting

What We're Looking For

• Qualification in accounting, such as ACCA, ICAP, or equivalent educational background
• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations applicable in Pakistan
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Professional communication and problem-solving abilities
