Sr Account Manager, Industrial Water, NA (Remote, US)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential global chemical solutions organization seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive industrial water treatment sales across North America. This remote role offers the opportunity to manage a substantial portfolio while developing new business in a growing market sector.

We are looking for a commercially driven sales professional with a strong track record in industrial chemical sales and the ability to build lasting customer relationships that support sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth across assigned industrial accounts by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities
• Manage and expand a significant sales portfolio, with preferred experience supporting approximately $25 million or more in annual revenue
• Build strong direct customer relationships while managing and developing indirect sales channels, including distributors and resellers
• Pursue new opportunities with a hunting mindset while protecting existing business through long-term customer partnerships
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers by understanding their needs and positioning water treatment solutions effectively
• Collaborate with internal teams including R&D, product management, supply chain, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and business reviews to customers and internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Proven success growing sales in industrial chemicals, water treatment, or a closely related technical B2B environment
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and expand existing accounts through both direct sales and indirect channel strategies
• Experience managing complex, high-value customer relationships and delivering measurable revenue growth
• Strong commercial discipline, negotiation skills, and ability to convert customer needs into value-based solutions
• Technical curiosity and credibility with the ability to partner with customers on industrial process or water treatment challenges
• Ability to work independently, prioritize opportunities, and collaborate effectively across functions and geographies
• Growth-oriented mindset with focus on delivering value and collaborative success
• Technical background in coagulants, flocculants, defoamers, or dispersants is a plus

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $120,000 to $140,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits package. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
