Spanish English Interpreter Medical / Legal Setup ( 100% Remote)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential language services organization seeking Spanish-English interpreters for fully remote medical and legal interpretation work. This is an excellent opportunity for bilingual professionals to provide critical interpretation services from anywhere in Bolivia.

We are looking for interpreters who can deliver accurate, culturally appropriate communication between Spanish and English speakers in healthcare and legal settings. You will work remotely, providing both over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI) services.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate simultaneous and consecutive interpretation between Spanish and English
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers in medical settings
• Support legal interpretation needs with proper terminology and cultural context
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all interactions
• Handle scheduled appointments as well as on-demand interpretation requests
• Demonstrate strong listening, note-taking, and memory retention during interpretation sessions
• Ensure clear, professional communication in sensitive medical and legal scenarios

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 months of professional interpretation experience (required - please include interpretation experience on your resume)
• Proven expertise in medical or legal interpretation sectors
• Native or bilingual fluency in both Spanish and English
• Availability for flexible scheduling, including potential 24/7 shift coverage
• Strong command of medical and/or legal terminology
• Professional home office setup with HIPAA-compliant workspace
• Wired USB headset with noise cancellation capability
• Reliable internet connection with minimum 10 Mbps upload speed and 20 Mbps download speed
• Excellent listening comprehension and verbal communication skills
