About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential federal contractor supporting critical healthcare initiatives. We're seeking a Web Developer to join a team modernizing digital platforms that serve staff, stakeholders, and end-users across a major federal healthcare ecosystem. This role focuses on creating accessible, compliant, and high-performing web experiences that align with federal standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and self-directed, with a passion for delivering Section 508-compliant digital experiences in a structured government contracting environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modernize, and maintain SharePoint, Internet, and Intranet websites supporting program operations and stakeholder needs
• Conduct comprehensive website assessments and develop management plans, design templates, and visual mockups to guide site development and continuous improvement
• Establish and maintain website user groups and access permissions, ensuring appropriate role-based controls and governance aligned with federal security policies
• Perform website coding and prepare digital content for posting in full compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards and applicable federal style guides
• Monitor and report on website performance across accessibility, quality assurance, and search engine optimization dimensions, implementing improvements as needed
• Support structured transition of website maintenance responsibilities, including documentation, knowledge transfer sessions, and handoff materials

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant web development experience, including design, development, and maintenance of SharePoint and web-based platforms
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field (or 7 total years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
• Demonstrated proficiency with Section 508 accessibility standards and web content management best practices
• Ability to obtain and maintain required federal credentials and successfully complete background investigation
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; this position does not offer visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with federal agencies or government healthcare organizations; familiarity with federal digital standards and web governance frameworks
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power Automate and PowerApps for workflow automation
• Proficiency with data and reporting tools such as SQL, Power BI, SSMS, Azure Data Studio, TOAD, SSIS, and/or SSRS
• Familiarity with Python scripting for automation, data processing, or web-related tasks
• Prior experience supporting knowledge transfer and website transition activities at the conclusion of federal task orders
• Understanding of federal health informatics data standards and how web platforms support quality and data-driven program reporting
