About the Role
As a Software Engineer in Student Affairs at WGU, you'll contribute to the development and improvement of student-focused software platforms and systems. Core Duties

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar
- Experience building web or mobile applications in a professional environment
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Solid grasp of software design principles and object-oriented programming
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Experience in higher education technology or student information systems is a plus
