About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential media technology company seeking a Software Engineer, Product to join their team in the United States. Our client is building innovative creative tools that combine sophisticated editing capabilities with cutting-edge AI technology.

This is a full-stack product engineering role where you'll own outcomes from conception through launch and measurement. You'll work across multiple possible teams including editor workflows, growth and monetization, media management, or AI-powered features. Regardless of your team, you'll design thoughtful systems that deliver real value to users.

Responsibilities

• Own meaningful product surfaces end-to-end, taking problems from definition through design, implementation, launch, measurement, and ongoing maintenance
• Partner with Product and Design to shape features, not just implement specifications—propose better interactions, expose constraints, choose metrics, and find simpler paths to outcomes
• Build ambitious full-stack systems using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and other technologies, creating responsive and reliable user experiences
• Improve team velocity and quality by forming hypotheses, instrumenting your work, releasing incrementally, and evaluating results honestly
• Strengthen tooling, standards, tests, observability, and release practices that enable the team to move quickly without sacrificing quality
• Provide architectural direction, thoughtful code reviews, mentoring, and clear technical communication

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping customer-facing products, including end-to-end features that measurably improved user or business outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI agents to multiply your impact and think critically about harnessing AI in your workflow
• Experience owning features and experiments end-to-end, from planning through launch, with analytics-driven impact evaluation
• Ability to orient quickly in unfamiliar systems by exploring code and asking thoughtful questions
• Strong product sense—you care about how software feels and notice when technically correct solutions don't serve users well
• Skill in creating clarity from ambiguity and navigating significant product and technical complexity
• Rigorous validation practices using focused reproductions, logs, tests, and other evidence rather than superficial checks

Helpful Experience:

• Work on editors, media products, creative tools, or payment systems
• TypeScript, HTML/CSS, React, Redux, Node.js, API design, Temporal Workflows, SQL, or Rust
• Building AI agents or experimenting with media-generation models
• Product experimentation and analytics platforms
• Video technology including shaders, graphics rendering, audio/visual effects, and media formats

Pay

The client has indicated a base salary range of $220,000-$265,000, plus equity and benefits. Final compensation will consider experience, expertise, location, and level.
