Return to Work Eligibility Specialist

Opportunity Overview

Our talent team is representing a confidential disability services organization in their search for a Return to Work Eligibility Specialist. This remote role supports individuals with disabilities as they explore employment opportunities through federal return-to-work programs. You'll conduct outreach, screen participants for eligibility, develop individualized work plans, and provide job acquisition support including resume development and interview preparation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for potential program participants through high-volume outbound and inbound calls and emails
• Screen leads and educate individuals about program eligibility and benefits
• Develop Individual Work Plans (IWPs) that outline personalized employment goals and action steps
• Support assigned participants during job acquisition with resume development, interview preparation, and job search strategies
• Maintain program compliance in all interactions and documentation
• Collaborate with team members on program operations and additional tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years of related work experience
• Demonstrated experience and confidence in high-volume outbound educational calls from warm leads
• 2 years' experience in vocational, clinical, or claim management roles within group disability insurance preferred
• Ability to pass Social Security Administration (SSA) Suitability background screening
• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred
• Work Incentive Practitioner Credentials (WIP-C) preferred
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and commitment to empowering individuals toward financial independence

This is a full-time remote position with equipment provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Time.
