Finance and Accounts Receivable Officer (AU)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential professional services organization with operations spanning multiple regions. We are seeking a Finance and Accounts Receivable Officer to join their remote team based in the Philippines, working closely with finance operations in Australia.

This role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes, support month-end financial operations, and ensure accurate financial administration across invoicing, expense claims, and reconciliations. You'll work remotely during AEST business hours and collaborate with finance leadership to maintain compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Management:

• Process invoice requests and raise invoices in QuickBooks and client platforms
• Set up and maintain recurring invoices
• Monitor retention balances and claiming schedules
• Issue client statements and complete initial collection follow-up
• Escalate debt collection matters appropriately
• Assist with client vendor onboarding and application forms
• Prepare debtor reporting and overdue account summaries

Expense Claims Processing:

• Process approved employee expense claims into QuickBooks
• Verify that claims are complete and properly documented
• Follow up on missing information or discrepancies with employees

Company Credit Card Reconciliation:

• Assist with reconciliation of company credit card transactions by cardholder
• Enter credit card transactions into the expense platform
• Reconcile transactions in QuickBooks
• Follow up cardholders for missing receipts or approvals

Month-End Support:

• Provide assistance with month-end processing tasks
• Support preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments
• Generate financial reports as required
• Assist with reconciliation tasks and reporting requirements
• Ensure month-end tasks are completed accurately and on time

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support process improvements across finance administration
• Assist with audit requirements by maintaining complete records
• Ensure tasks comply with company procedures and internal controls
• Identify and escalate errors or process gaps to finance leadership

What We're Looking For

• Experience in accounts receivable, finance administration, bookkeeping, or a similar role
• Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Experience within construction or professional services industries would be an advantage
• Good understanding of invoice processing, expense claims, reconciliations, and month-end support
• Ability to work remotely with Australian-based finance teams
• Ability to manage recurring tasks and meet deadlines consistently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
• Strong written communication and follow-up skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and finance administration systems
• Availability to work AEST business hours (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM with 1-hour lunch break)

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: PHP 55,000 to PHP 65,000 per month. This is a full-time remote position with equipment provided. Work schedule aligns with Australian Eastern Standard Time.
