Software Engineer Intern, Infrastructure

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital asset trading technology firm seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join their Infrastructure team in London for Summer 2027. This is a 12-week internship where you'll work alongside experienced engineers building and scaling systems that power institutional-grade trading platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, maintain, and scale infrastructure systems
• Contribute to automation initiatives including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment tooling
• Support production system performance through monitoring, logging, and observability improvements
• Communicate cross-functionally to understand and implement infrastructure requirements
• Participate in an open and transparent engineering culture

What We're Looking For

• Class of 2028 pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or similar
• Familiarity with Linux systems, shell scripting, and/or networking fundamentals
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Interest in distributed systems and platform engineering
• Demonstrated development experience through coursework, projects, or previous internships
• Experience in crypto or finance, or strong desire to learn
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Local to London
