Social Media und Influencer Lead (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential pet wellness organization in Berlin seeking a Social Media and Influencer Lead to build sustainable content visibility across organic channels.

You will lead content strategy that remains discoverable months after publication—moving beyond short-term campaign spikes to create evergreen assets found through search, social platforms, AI-generated answers, and trusted publications.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Developing organic social media channels and team structure: format development, channel strategy, posting frequency, and community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Creating and managing the editorial calendar across all organic channels, coordinating topics, timing, resources, execution, and prioritization
• Leading the creator and influencer team: goal-setting, feedback, professional development, capacity planning, and full ownership of influencer marketing campaigns from selection through briefing, relationship management, and performance analysis
• Building long-form and evergreen content strategies for YouTube, blog articles, guides, and educational resources—briefing production, hands-on creation when needed, and transforming campaign materials into standalone evergreen formats
• Managing PR and earned media relationships with specialist publications, online magazines, comparison portals, review platforms, and external blogs; activating reviews and engaging veterinary professionals and educational creators as credibility sources
• Owning SEO and GEO (generative engine optimization) visibility, determining which topics to own, identifying content gaps, and translating strategy into the editorial plan
• Coordinating external agencies, freelancers, and production partners on briefing, quality standards, timelines, and budget

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience building short-form, long-form, and evergreen content on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Several years managing external producers, freelancers, or agencies
• Experience in functional or direct leadership of a content or creator team
• Proven SEO expertise—both content strategy and technical implementation beyond basic keyword research
• Demonstrable understanding of AI search visibility (GEO) and how content surfaces in AI-generated answers
• Editorial rigor with health-related topics: you understand why sourcing, expertise, and transparency are non-negotiable in wellness content
• Fluent German and strong English
• Genuine affinity for dogs and cats
