Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential UK-based organization seeking a Social Media Assistant to join their remote marketing team. This fully remote position is open to professionals based in South Africa, working UK business hours. You'll play a key role in managing day-to-day social media operations and supporting content strategy across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Monitor social channels daily and engage with comments and direct messages
• Assist with creating captions, graphics briefs, and maintaining content calendars
• Track performance metrics and compile weekly engagement reports
• Support the broader marketing team with ad-hoc content and campaign tasks

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing social media accounts in a professional or marketing capacity
• Familiarity with scheduling platforms such as Metricool, Buffer, or Hootsuite
• Strong written communication skills with attention to on-brand messaging
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking
• Creative flair and ability to contribute fresh content ideas
• Comfortable working UK business hours from South Africa

Pay
